Towel Down™

Imagine this scenario: you are lying on the beach, there is a gust of wind and the corner of your towel (and some sand) end's up on you. I hate that feeling of sand and towel on me while I'm trying to relax on the beach.

I developed Towel Down™ a number of years ago to make resting on the beach more… well, more restful. Also, I wanted to carry as few items as possible when going out. Now when I go to the beach, I grab my stuff and the Towel Down™ and I'm off.

I've been working on this project for a while now. In the past couple of years, more opportunities have begun to present themselves to me. In June 2002, I exhibited at the Licensing Show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. A year later, the Towel Down™ was featured in a Sunday New York Times Style section article.

More recently, Towel Down™ was a featured item in the presenter's gift baskets at the MTV Latin Music Awards in Miami, October 2003, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards in February 2004. The latter event led to the Towel Down™'s 'appearance' on the E! Entertainment Networks show E! News Live. In addition, the Trump Plaza purchased the Towel Down™ imprinted with its logo.
