My main objective in developing The Latchel was to provide a way for fathers to bond with their baby.

I then thought of other people whom this this invention would benefit. For example, women who have had a masectomy due to cancer, women with inverted nipples, and also when nipples are just too sore and tender to nurse. Caregivers and other family members would also enjoy the bonding benefits from this new nursing product.

I was born along side my identical twin sister in March 1980 and grew up in Longview Washington. I was raised by my father, who is a Longshoreman.

I fell in love with my husband while in college and we got married and started a family.

My life is my family because I am a "stay at home mom." After giving birth to my daughter and nursing her for the first time, that’s when I realized that this was what life is all about. Life is loving, nurturing and bonding with your family. Between my three sisters and I we have given our mother eight beautiful grand babies.
